The metaverse is a shared, 3D digital environment.  It is a network of digital spaces where people and objects can exist and interact. To put it in perspective, consider as an example the internet as something that you look or explore whereas the metaverse is a version of the internet that you would be “inside of”. Consider that metaverse could enhance human connections by removing physical barriers to meeting with other people.
