What is a Scatter Plot?

There are various types of scatter plots, but the most common one is the XY scatter plot. In this scatter plot, the X axis represents the independent variable while the Y axis represents the dependent variable. The scatter plot is used to determine if there is any correlation between the two variables. If there is a correlation, it will be represented by a line on the scatter plot.

Visualization

Scatter plots are excellent for visualization because they can quickly and easily reveal relationships between two variables. They can also be used to show trends over time, which makes them especially useful for data analysis. For example, if you wanted to understand the connection between how much sleep a person gets and their productivity during the day, you could use a scatter plot to visualize that information.
