What is User-Generated Content
Introduction to Social Media
User-Generated Content (UGC)
User-generated content can be viewed as any form of content, such as images, videos, text, and audio, that has been posted by users on online platforms. UGC is created by consumers that disseminate information about products or the firms that market the products of interest.
There are many advantages and disadvantages to using UGC. Since UGC comes directly from users, it is out of the brand’s control.
