How does Technology and Science Make A Difference Together?

How does technology and science make a difference together? by Tala Ibrahim. How does technology help science? Technology is designed to solve problems and science uses technology to make new discoveries.
However, technology and science have different goals. The goal of science is to answer questions and increase knowledge. The goal of technology is to find solutions to practical practical problems. Genetic engineering is a perfect example that demonstrates how technology benefits science. It is a process that uses a laboratory-based technologies to change the DNA makeup of an organism. This could involve changing a single base pair the leading a region of DNA or even adding a new segment of DNA that did not exist before.
Examples of technologies used in science are microscopes, telescopes, vertical accelerators, lenses, mirrors, and sensors. Also, it also has surgical devices such as robotic and laser surgery. Technological systems to monitor vital signs and both chemistry. Imaging methods such as ultrasounds, x-rays, particle beams, and magnetic resonance.
General purpose: Did you know that five countries make up about 90% of genetic engineering? The U.S. makes up for 69% of this. Did you also know that more than 90% of products that have been going into the U.S. are bioengineered? Bioengineered is one of the top research topics in science due to the advancement in technology, even though it could be harmful at times.
Specific purpose: What is genetic engineering? Is it right? Is it okay? Genetic engineering is also known as GMOs which may be added or removed from a product in order to create a new product. In other words, a new outcome or a new creation. The process of GMOs is the direct manipulation of an organism's genomes using biotechnology to transform it into a new product. It is an important topic. That's why I think people should be informed about it. In research, genetic engineering allows the function of genes to be studied. I also think it's an interesting topic because drugs, vaccines, and other products have been harvested from organisms and engineered to be able to produce them. And all of that could not have been done without the usage of technology.
Statement of credibility: Scientists modify plants, vegetables to either make them taste better, last longer, or even make them immune to diseases that can ruin the plants. Some things that can get modified could be things that we eat every day such as bananas, cherry tomatoes, corn, potatoes, rice, beans, and just regular tomatoes.
Genetic and generic isn't only engineered using plants and vegetables but it's also used to modify human DNA. By modifying human DNA, scientists could give you desired traits to any baby. You can modify the baby to have green eyes, make it tall, or even make it smart. And some people think that it's cool because it's a way they can let you have the perfect baby but in reality it could be actually affecting diversity.
In conclusion, the advancement in technology has given us the power to make changes that were impossible before. It has also given us the power to alter the DNA of any organism including the human race. Without the presence of technologies, scientists would not have been able to make new discoveries and different solutions to diseases and problems that were dangerous before.
